We will begin our introduction
to John Paul's "Theology of the Body" on September 20.
The DVD series by Christopher West will begin the following week.
All meetings will be at 6 pm on Sundays.
The series is 8 sessions long and will end before Thanksgiving.
The Theology of the Body is a "new" way to understand our Catholic faith
and it has been said will revolutionize the way our faith is taught for
hundreds of years to come. Come and see what this is about.
John Paul answers what it means to be human. Spouses will see they are
made for each other. Learn how and what it means to "love as God
loves".
Bring your spouse, ask your friends or older children and come and join
us. The first meeting will be in the church with following sessions in
the auditorium. You are going to love this topic.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PIUS X STUDENTS!
If you are a PIUS X HIGH SCHOOL student during the 2009-2010 school
year, then you can be applying for scholarships NOW.
We will be awarding over $30,000 in scholarships this year.
Applications are being accepted and the deadline is October 15,
2009.
Please contact the Pius X Guidance Office
at 488-0931 for an application form or you can go to Pius X’s
website: www.piusx.net and
select Scholarship Information & Form, which is located under the Of
Interest to our Parents, section for submission.
