| Charity and Stewardship Appeal (D. D. P.) The Bishop Bruskewitz Charity and Stewardship Appeal, D. D. P. is the annual giving campaign of the Diocese of Lincoln, which is critical to sustaining the day-to-day operations of seventeen pastoral, humanitarian, educational and religious apostolates of the Catholic Church in southern Nebraska. Since St. Michael Parish supports both Catholic grade schools and a high school. it received back 80 percent of its goal and everything above the goal for its needs. There are many services the Diocese provides to all Catholics that would be difficult for even the most prosperous parishes to undertake on their own. This includes support for our schools, youth programs, Spanish-speaking ministry, Pro-Life, Catholic Social Services and other ministries.
